National Equipment Register receives construction and agricultural equipment theft reports from a broad spectrum of industry, law enforcement and insurance sources which provides a unique perspective on theft activities across the United States and Canada. From this information, NER issues alerts and advisories on specific thefts, theft trends and patterns of targeted equipment reported to NER in order to raise awareness of this criminal activity, forewarn potential victims, and help law enforcement and the industry recognize potentially stolen machines.
